Asynchronous Motor

An asynchronous motor is an alternating current electric motor that uses an induced current in its rotor, instead of a physical supply of energy to produce its rotation movement. The rotor is not connected spur gears calculator to any power source but develops an internal electric current through induction. The asynchronous motor is ideal for heavy duty applications because of its simplicity and robustness.

The lack of additional sliding rings and brushes needed to provide power to the rotor make this type of engine one of the most reliable and efficient, and in addition to having small acquisition and maintenance cost and has a long service life. The field generated in the rotor is not supplied by the direct introduction of a current, but rather by induction of the stator current transformer adjacent to the electromagnetic field. The stator electromagnetic field is caused by an alternating current power supply connected to the stator windings. The stator of an asynchronous motor does not move, but rather the magnetic field that it produces. It has a number of windings or coils fitted along its inner surface.
